Silver's shoulders hunched and he froze in place when he heard a voice come from - what seemed like - nowhere. His first instinct was to whirl and look for who the voice belonged to, but amidst grass that was nearly as tall as he was, it was difficult. Good thing the person was so much taller that they stuck out of the grass a great deal more.
He blinked, and then blinked again.
"I'm..Silver? Hello." He said more questioningly than not. It wasn't exactly a good answer to that question of 'what' instead of 'who', but 'what' he was wasn't a question he ever had been asked.
"You're a human? I thought they went extinct years ago."
